Wittenberg University:
Celebrating 175 Years

Tasked with introducing the virtual Homecoming celebrations (held entirely remotely as a result of Covid-19), we created a visual journey through Wittenberg's 175-year history with class of '09 alumnus (and social change leader) Derrick Braziel.

As he narrates the rich history of Wittenberg from the lush grounds, he illustrates the story of a university at which "passing the light" is a guiding principle. Guiding the viewer to the president's residence for the Homecoming toast (delivered by Zoom), Derek traces a path that many prestigious thinkers - and doers- have walked since 1845, in this informative, illuminating and interesting piece of celebratory cinematic content.
